About the Author

LUKE BELL O.S.B.is a monk of Quarr Abbey on the Isle of Wight in the United Kingdom, a Benedictine monastery of the Solesmes Congregation. His work there includes mentoring the young who come to the abbey to follow its internship program. He is a graduate in English literature of King’s College, Cambridge and the author of eight other books on spiritual themes. He is specially interested in the intersection of Christian tradition and contemporary thought.
